About the Artist

> What kind of art do you make?

I make a wide variety of art and I have for as long as I can remember: woodworking, carving, sculpting, illustration, animation, comics. You name it: I've probably tried it. Both of my parents were artists. My late mother was a graphic designer, while my father is a hobbyist musician and illustrator. I grew up with art as core to my identity, family and life.

> What are you making now?

I've been practicing art regularly through studies. Currently focused on making OC works and developing my own characters. I've been having fun re-learning how to use Live2D to make rigs and animations! Take a look on my YouTube or TikTok for some shorts. I've also been experimenting with pixel art, while continuing to make illustrations and designs for my various OCs. Keep an eye on Twitch, where I might stream some of my work!

At the moment, I've been focused on art for my own enjoyment and self-expression——returning to being active on social media after a period of disengaging online.

Much of the digital art I share online has been character heavy, meaning I develop and design characters. I also have been experimenting with more complicated aspects of world design, some of which I've shared on my Toyhouse.

I've collaborated on a handful of games and stories, mostly unpublished or works in progress.

Some of the things I'm proud to have contributed to include: Colors for Sev Wildfang's published webcomic Souls Foreclosed, Volume V: Invictus; and a cover illustration for Sapphicworld: Dream Ashcan, a TTRPG (credited as Opal of Iris); a full-page illustration based on the The Tempest for "such stuff as dreams are made on: a modern Shakespeare zine" (credited as Kotanya); and Libra, a mock comic book cover—— grand prize winner of "Unmask" a Superhero Design Contest of 2015.

I'm also the proud winner of the Enel X Coloring contest of Summer 2020 and the very grateful owner of the Radrunner E-Bike first place prize and avid cyclist! 🚲
